Offering training by professionals in dance, drama, new media, visual arts, music and singing, The Little Arts Academy provides opportunities for all children who have strong interest and artistic potential to receive interdisciplinary training in the arts.
Theatre - Animals In My Head! Age group: 5-7 years old Duration: 60mins per lesson x 10 lessons Schedule: Thursdays, 2pm onwards OR Saturdays, 11.30am onwards
Dates: 1/11, 8/11, 15/11, 27/11* 29/11, 6/12, 13/12, 19/12, 20/12, 21/12
Thursday classes start on 6 November.
If your child loves stories about animals, let our drama lessons bring the magic and wonder of the animal kingdom to the classroom. Students will learn how to bring their imaginations to life and take a short voyage into the world of animals. Let The Little Arts Academy be your child’s companion to discovery, making science fun and easy to understand!
Ballet - Little Happy Feet Age group: 5-7 years old Duration: 60mins per lesson x 10 lessons Schedule: Saturdays, 11am onwards Dates: 1/11, 8/11, 15/11, 27/11*, 6/12, 11/12*, 18/12, 19/12, 20/12, 21/12
Children will learn poise, grace and coordination as they engage with fun activities that will sharpen spatial awareness and muscle control. Basic ballet concepts are introduced in an age-appropriate way and to translate their love of movement into dance! The children will also have the opportunity to perform and obtain be selected for further training towards a Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) certificate which is recognised worldwide.
Visual Arts - Circle of Life Age group: 5-7 years old Duration: 60mins per lesson x 10 lessons Schedule: Fridays, 2pm onwards OR Saturdays/Sundays, 11.30am onwards Dates: 1/11, 8/11, 15/11, 29/11, 6/12, 13/12, 19/12, 20/12, 21/12 (2 hours)
Friday classes start on 7 November.
In this course, children will learn to make prints, create landscapes, draw their favourite animals, create music instruments and recreate the work of famous artists. Give your child the language of colour and the skills to realise their imaginations through the Little Arts Academy’s visual art programmes!

Ballet - Jaime Pang RTS ARAD A registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, RAD Advanced 2 holder and trained in Pilates, Jaime has been teaching for more than 4 years to students ranging from four to 58 years old. With more than 20 years of ballet training, Jaime continues to pursue her second degree, Degree in Dance Education from Royal Academy of Dance.
Theatre – Dramatic Developments Representing London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in Singapore
Dramatic Developments is the Singapore Representative for the LAMDA examinations here in Singapore and was formed to develop a wider acceptance of LAMDA examinations, set-up and administer a teacher-training qualification as well as bring highly qualified and experienced teachers to centres looking to train their children to the highest level. Although Dramatic Developments is relatively new, it is managed by the same team who ran ‘The Helen O’Grady Children’s Drama Centre’ in Singapore for a period of 8 years and took it to an enrolment close to 3,000 students.
Visual Arts - Studio Haroobee Studio Haroobee’s instructors have extensive experience in handling young children and helping the children express themselves through visual art. Their teachers are proficient in 2D and 3 D techniques and hail from well-established art institutions like Lasalle-SIA College of the Arts, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia and Temasek Polytechnic.
Students who require financial assistance can apply to the Business Times Budding Artists Fund for scholarship.
